Most advanced Chinese fighter starts mass production

China has authorized the mass production of its Chengdu J-20B stealth fighter, the most sophisticated fighter in the Chinese aerial arsenal.
Several improvements have been incorporated into the fighter from its version prior to J-20A. It now features the Russian AL-31 engines and possibly the same great vectored thrust system as the Russian engine.
This engine is used in the well-known Russian fighters of the Flanker family (Nato designation) and derivatives. It should be noted that this vectoring is of the "3D" type, that is, the exhaust fans of the engines can point in any direction (not just up and down) as well as can work asymmetrically, so the exhaust fans of the engines can truly function as capable flight controls. to control the roll or pitch of the aircraft even if it is at very low speeds or even stalled.
You probably won't find many "Western" pilots praising this system but just disdaining it. But it is difficult not to recognize its great value in dogfights, especially the "Fox-2" type, that is, the one caught between aircraft capable of firing heat-following missiles such as the American SideWinder AIM-9X, the Russian R73 / R74? K74 or the French Matra Magic, just to name a few of the best known.
In future versions of the fighter, China intends to return to its original plans to use the Chinese engine WS-15, which for now is not yet developed enough to be used in real life.
