ANAC's air traffic monitoring data reveal that in June Azul was the largest air carrier in the country.
The company accounted for 39% of the movement.
Gol had 37% and Latam 24%.
The three companies together carried more than 880 thousand passengers. This figure still represents a huge drop compared to the same period last year. More precisely, only 12.7 percent of the movement of that month of 2019.
Another indicator, the RPK, revealed that the average stage increased slightly, since the figures for June / 20 are equivalent to 15% of those for June / 19. RPK, in the acronym in English, Revenue Passenger Kilometers, is the product of the number of passengers multiplied by the total kilometers flown.
We also have the following statistical data, considering the months April / May / June:
Seat supply (ASK): 8.6%, 10.4% and 16.4%, therefore rising slowly but with a tendency to accelerate.
Load factor: 65.4%, 70.7% and 74.6%, also rising slowly.
In the international market, demand is only around 5% and supply around 10% compared to June 2019.
