Suspected gasoline becomes police case

The accusations that suspected aviation gasoline caused damage to several private aircraft led the Federal Police to initiate an investigation into the problem in the state of São Paulo.
ANAC and ANP are already carrying out their own investigations to understand what happened.
The action of the Federal Police was in response to the request of the Federal Public Ministry to clarify the responsibilities that may be involved in the episode.
So far, the various samples collected for analysis by ANAC and ANP have not yet resulted in any report confirming or denying the inadequacy of product quality, which directly affects flight safety.
In total, about 12,000 aircraft use the affected fuels and a total of 110 owners reported having suffered problems with their planes.

According to FUP, the Unique Federation of Oil Workers, there is a direct relationship between the bad news of poor quality in aviation gasoline and the company's management.
The company's management guidelines have caused the exacerbated export of crude oil and the import of refined petroleum products, a criticism that has already been directed, with reason to the management of other companies that were formerly state-owned companies such as Vale.
It seems to be the case that Brazil exercised the option of being a mere exporter of commodities and products with low or no level of processing, whereas its citizens, if they want to have access to processed products, will have to pay imports with values "u200b"u200bpegged to the dollar. .
Ultimately, the country has exercised its political options and will now have to live with them.
The fact is that the only refinery that produced aviation gasoline, and Cubatão, had its production interrupted due to "works" (the quotes are from FUP and seem to make perfect sense).
It is still curious, intriguing, not to say indignant, that the second largest fleet of general aviation in the world has to live off imports.
It would be interesting for Brazil, a country that talks so much about self-criticism, to self-criticize its recent political options. If we are one of the largest countries in the world in terms of population and territorial extension, if this leads us to have a gigantic general aviation, if we have one of the largest oil reserves in the world - the biggest discoveries in the current century - how can we accept to stay for a single day, supplying our planes with imported gasoline?
Anyone who doesn't want to see it won't see it, but there is obviously a very clear policy of expatriation of wealth underway.
Only one thing we would like to remind our esteemed voters, if they agree to continue supporting politicians and policies of this carat, they will end up living in a country that needs abundant income to buy sophisticated goods imported in dollars but will be unable to do so because they will be working in the production and export of materials rustic raw, not benefited and paid in reais.
It is an evident and stark circle of impoverishment. And perhaps it is not by chance revealed in these episodes of the fuels of general aviation, since it is being hit and filled and constitutes one of the greatest symbols of wealth of a nation.
It is our wealth scavenging between our fingers for our misunderstandings of Worldview translated into our political vision.
A feather.
