Korean giant Samsung, a company that operates in a variety of technological areas but known mainly for its great phones and tablets, now promises to enter the commercial aircraft rental market.
Motivated by South Korea's weak participation in this market, the company promises to operate a portfolio oriented to planes of all ages and not just new planes or other sectors, such as half-life or older aircraft.
The time horizon for the start of operations at the new lessor has not been disclosed so far.
