Jeong-Myeong Ha, a researcher at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, claims to have found a way to produce environmentally friendly biofuels for air transport consumption. According to him, the process consists of hyrdocracking, a petrochemical process, applied to organic material from used wood.
According to the scientist, the process would solve the limitations existing in other similar methods, that is, the limitation of production on a sufficient scale to supply the aviation industry with energy.
the idea seems encouraging and reinforces other similar research being developed in other countries.
