Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported, without giving too many details, that the country is placing a new order for Sukhoi SU-35S multi-functional fighters, one of the most advanced models in operation in the country today.
The aircraft is known and feared for its performance in various types of missions, especially for its remarkable aerial combat capability, where it has the capability known as super maneuverability, a capability not present in most Western fighters, built in accordance with other philosophies.
The Sukhoi model factory, called KnAAZ, also produces the SU-57 models, this is the most modern fifth generation Russian fighter model in Russia. 78 models of this ship are planned to be delivered to the Russian armed forces during the course of the 2020s.

Although the SU-57 is the most modern model, the increase in the quantity of the SU-35S can be a reinforcement of a technology ship and more amortized price, since it produces large numbers of fifth generation models - such as the SU-57 - may have a prohibitive budgetary impact.
That's where between the SU-35S. This architecture, that is, the addition of the very modern SU-57s with a new SU-35 order, reminds us of what is happening on the other side of the world, in the USA, where the USAF is starting a new major acquisition of the F-15EX models. , a notable fighter of aerial superiodade of that country, that seems to come to complement the fleet of the F-22, that counts about 190 units in that country.
Someone might say that the plane to be supplemented by the new F-15EX would be the F-35, but that could be an error of assessment. After all, the most modern aerial supermodel fighter in the USA is the F-22 and the F-35 does not seem to be very comfortable in this role. In this way the F15-EX looks much more aligned to the F-22 than to the F-35.
And this is where the symbiosis between the Russian SU-57 and SU-35 becomes similar to what happens on the other side of the Atlantic - or peaceful, depends on the geographical point of view.
What also looks identical from both sides of the world is the perception of the quality of fifth generation fighters. Be it because the information around these planes is still very secret or because they are still little tested in real combat environments, the fighters of the so-called fifth generation seem to increasingly need the help of the planes of the previous generation - the so-called 4 - for fulfill the functions that should have been transferred to the newer jets by now.
To success with the "new" fighters from the previous generation. On both sides of the Cold War - unfortunately already underway driven by the stupidity of our rulers - the fantastic aircraft from the late 90s of the century still seem to be the best we have in the skies.
We just hope that the Cold War 2.0 stupidity does not become a hot war.
