Azul's cargo unit, Azul Cargo Express, is helping to combat the pandemic and will carry out another logistical transport mission between the night of March 25 and Friday morning (26).

Aircraft of all models in the company's fleet will be used to transport kits for the intubation from Campinas to 25 Brazilian states.

This new operation for almost all the states of our federation reaffirms the commitment of Azul and Azul Cargo Express to support all sectors in the fight against the pandemic. In a short time, we are planning and we will carry out a logistical transport of a sensitive and extremely valuable cargo for Brazilians, showing the expertise and professionalism of our business unit. We live in a delicate moment in our country and the more we can collaborate, the more actions and logistical transportation we will do ”, says Izabel Reis, director of Azul Cargo Express.

Another company flight this Thursday (March 25), took off from Campinas to Puerto Rico (Caribbean). The flight has the purpose of seeking inputs that will be used in the production of the IFA, raw material for the production of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine by Fiocruz.

Azul traditionally already transported special and sensitive cargo, such as the H1N1 vaccine, which requires dry ice and special preparation for transport.

The company's diverse and modern fleet allows missions from regional routes to international long-distance missions.
