The Embraer division focused on urban mobility solutions, called Eve Air Mobility, presented for the first time in flight the prototype of the eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and land - take-off and vertical electric landing).
The prototype took off at Embraer's headquarters in Gavião Peixoto (SP) on Wednesday 24. The first functional prototype is still on a small scale and does not have the capacity to carry passengers, in addition to being remotely controlled.

The project looks like a large, futuristic drone for the purpose of transporting passengers. The project appears to be inspired by small helicopters by remote control and similar devices developed by Boeing and Airbus. The objective is for the aircraft to operate autonomously and for passengers to request air taxi by telephone in the future.
The project has ten propellers, eight horizontally and two vertically powered by electric motors.
