LATAM Brasil announced on Thursday, April 8, the withdrawal of all Airbus A350 aircraft from its fleet. These were the most modern aircraft of the company, having been incorporated into the fleet in 2015, but due to the current political and economic scenario in Brazil, the operation and maintenance of this model became unviable.

Thus, the company now operates only with planes of the Boeing models: 777, 767 and 787.

Before the pandemic, some LATAM A350s had already been acquired by Qatar Airways and Delta Air Lines.

According to Jerome Cardier, the company's CEO, LATAM is undergoing restructuring due to the judicial recovery it faces, and one of the changes is the restructuring of the widebody fleet in Brazil, with the withdrawal of A350 aircraft and the continuity of only Boeing models.
