The coronavirus pandemic in Portugal caused the government to suspend flights between the country and Brazil. Recently, the end of this decree allowed Azul to resume its flights yesterday (April 18).

The flights will be made with the largest aircraft in Azul's fleet, the Airbus a330-900neo, with a capacity for up to 298 passengers. There will be three weekly flights between Campinas (SP) and Lisbon (Portugal).
The restrictions, however, continue. Only citizens who have a permanent residence in the country, Portuguese or European Union citizens can fly these flights. Whoever arrives in Portugal or who moves to Brazil needs to present a negative test for covid 19 and will have to comply with a mandatory 14-day quarantine. Those who do not follow these rules will not be able to board.
