More than 20 F-15 and C-130 Super Hercules fighters move to participate in exercises in the country

The Polish air bases of Lask and Krzesiny received, on April 19, twenty f-15 Eagle fighters, F-15 Strike Eagle and four US Air Force (USAF) F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters, in addition to C-130J planes. Super Hercules from the 37th Airlift Squadron at Ramstein base in Germany.

The reason was an Agile Combat Employment (ACE) exercise with Polish air forces. The C-130 Super Hercules were sent to provide support during the exercise.



According to The Avionist website, the F-15C and F-16 fighters were sent to Krzesiny, while the F-15 Strike Eagle went to Lask. The C-130s will be at the Chièvres Air Force Base (Belgium).

The exercise will be done in order to train interoperability, joint procedures and training mission tactics with Polish F-16C / D and MiG-29 Fulcrum fighters.

According to Captain Michael Polad, spokesman for Lask airbase, territory defense missions, air defense, air combat, ground attack, in-flight refueling and Composite Air Operations (COMAO).

“The opportunities to train alongside our Polish allies are incredibly valuable and extremely important. This allows us to refine our combat skills, build lasting relationships and learn to operate perfectly as a combined force, ”said General Jeff Harrigan in a statement.
