In total, more than 300 planes were ordered by Iranian airlines before the new sanctions imposed by the United States, adding up orders for Boeing, Airbus and ATR, but only 11 ATR and three Airbus were delivered.
Boeing reported that "(...) will continue to follow the example of the United States government with regard to involvement with Iranian airlines". He gave no further information regarding the requests from Iranian companies.
The list of orders and deliveries recently published by Boeing does not include orders from Iran Air and Iran Aseman Airlines.
