On March 23, the Brazilian Aviation Team (BASeT) campaign began. The project published on the social networks of the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) is entitled “Responsible Passenger” and aims to make passengers aware of the appropriate attitudes and behaviors at airports and on board aircraft.

The main purpose of the campaign is to reduce the occurrences related to passenger indisciplines in Brazilian civil aviation. Numerous reasons can lead a passenger to inappropriate behavior, as shown in a study by Subgroup I. Among the main ones, there are excessive alcohol consumption before boarding, the refusal to use a Covid-19 protective mask, the lack of respect for employees at the check-in counter, in the security inspection channel and with the crew, among others.
The campaign starts with a video entitled “Responsible Passenger”, released on Anac's official YouTube channel, which you can see by clicking on the external link below. In the short video, the highlight goes to the steps that passengers must go through before boarding. There are also cards that warn of the main points that can cause some indiscipline in aviation.
Help BASeT to disseminate this material and this campaign.
