Embraer and the Turkish company Turkish Airspace Industries (TAI) may close a partnership for the production of a turboprop commercial airplane with the fuselage of the current E-jet, models E-170 and E175. The two companies already have a preliminary contract related to that plane.
“Embraer is making a propeller plane project. We made a preliminary agreement. I see a gap in this market. Existing turboprop aircraft, for example, remained from the older generation, ”said the CEO of TAI.

Embraer has not yet made any official announcement about this, but has released some illustrative images of the perspectives studied. The model should have between 75 and 90 seats and must meet the demand between ATR airplanes and Embraer jets.
The TAI Company is responsible for important developments, such as the T-129 Atak. In addition, it supplies parts to major manufacturers such as Airbus, Boeing, Gulfstream and Leonardo.
