On April 29, Embraer presented its financial results for the first quarter of 2021 (1Q21). 22 aircraft were delivered in that period (9 commercial and 13 executive). Its firm order backlog was $ 14.2 billion.
Cash flow used 1.21 billion reais, a number that is consistent with the seasonality of the business. However, considering the same period last year, when the value was 2.9 billion reais, the number was better.

Net revenue reached 4.45 billion reais, the number representing an increase of 55% in relation to the same period in 2020. There was also growth in all business segments. The company's net loss of 522.9 million and 0.71 reais per adjusted share.
The company is the 3rd largest aircraft manufacturer in the world, behind only giants like Boeing and Airbus. Overall, its result was good, with a total cash position of R $ 14 billion and a net debt of R $ 10.8 billion.
The company also signed a firm order for 30 E195-E2 jets. The client has not yet been released. The deal signed on April 23 will enter the second quarter (2Q21) order book, with deliveries scheduled to start in 2022.
