Through its Boeing Business Jets project, BBJ, Boeing turns passenger planes into business aircraft and, following customer orders, these renovations often result in luxury interiors. These transformations are carried out on 737 MAX, 747-8, 787 models and now Boeing will also offer the 777X, which, when launched, will be the largest single-deck business aircraft in the world.

The 777X will feature lower fuel consumption and the ability to fly longer distances compared to the predecessor models, 777-200 and 777-300. In the executive version, the aircraft will be able to traverse the entire planet without requiring a stopover, since, depending on the version, it will be able to fly 21,570 km or 20,370 km.

In addition, Boeing entered into a partnership with Greenpoint Technologies, a company specializing in aircraft interior design, which developed a luxurious project called Lotus for the interior of the 777X.

The aircraft has an exceptionally spacious interior and the project aims to enjoy this feature with an efficient use of space, creating, for example, areas such as reception to serve champagne and snacks, rooms for guests and crew and rooms for meetings and gatherings, which seem more a ship than an airplane. The project also has customizable rooms and bathrooms, in addition to LED lighting, which allows you to choose a variety of shades that will be reflected on the white walls.

At the rear of the aircraft, the project includes one of the most luxurious spaces: an area reserved for the owner, which has a double bed, television, wardrobes and its own bathroom, which has an LED light box.

According to Annika Wicklund, one of the designers involved in the project, “Lotus' inspiration began with the 777X's large cabin and the desire for multifunctional spaces, advanced connectivity and exclusive features that differentiate the interior of traditional private business jets. Our team aimed to design a contemporary and functional interior with luxuries experienced in a world-class hotel. The result is a spacious, reflective and welcoming interior ”.
