The results of the first quarter of 2021, which have already been the subject of another article here (external link below) brought yet another novelty. The released numbers of delivered jets showed 134, but the company had already confirmed, on April 23, another 30 units that will be delivered in 2022.

This is a firm order contract for 30 units of the largest jet ever produced by the company, the E195-E2. The 30 aircraft will enter the 2Q21 backlog. The customer has not yet been revealed.

However, in February, rumors were circulating that Lufthansa was talking to Embraer about a possible order. Nothing else was commented on.

Embraer also revealed that, due to the difficult conditions for the sector, the 175-E2 jet will only begin operations in 2024. “Embraer is continuing the certification work for the aircraft, which flew for the first time in December 2019, but with its revised schedule. ”

The Brazilian manufacturer has 302 firm orders for the E-jet family. There are 134 firm orders for the E195-E2 and Embraer has already delivered 19 units.
