Boeing launches $ 10 million aid package to Asian country

India is experiencing an explosion of cases and deaths from the coronavirus, and today, April 30, Boeing announced a $ 10 million emergency assistance package to the country.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated communities around the world, and our hearts go out to our friends in India who are going through a very difficult time. Boeing is a global citizen, and in India we are targeting our pandemic response to the communities most impacted by this recent wave of cases, ”said Dave Calhoun, president and chief executive officer of The Boeing Company.

Boeing's assistance will be to provide assistance with medical supplies and emergency health care. The Boeing team in India totals 3000 employees, local customers, suppliers and business partners. Thus, Boeing intends to contribute to the fight against the coronavirus in this very difficult moment.
