Versatility and technology unmatched by any other jet in the category, says the manufacturer. The brand's newest jet, officially announced on May 6, has many innovative features. The plane is expected to enter service in 2025. "Today we are introducing a new benchmark in business aviation," said Dassault President and CEO Eric Trappier.

“The Falcon 10X will offer an incomparable passenger experience on short and long-haul flights, along with innovative safety features from Dassault's frontline fighter technology. We optimized all aspects of the aircraft with the passenger in mind and established a new level of capacity for ultra-long-range aircraft. ”

The jet's range is 7500 nautical miles and the maximum speed is Mach 0.925. Thus, the plane can fly nonstop from São Paulo to anywhere in Europe or from São Paulo to New Zealand.

The aircraft cabin is the largest and most comfortable cabin on the market, according to the manufacturer. The plane will still offer greater modularity than others in its class, with a selection of various interior configurations.

Airplane owners will be able to configure their cabin to create a custom interior, including luxurious surroundings, such as a dining / conference area, a dedicated entertainment area with huge screens, a cabin with a full queen-size bed or an expanded master suite with private box.

As for the size of the jet, the 10X will have a larger cross-section of the cabin than some regional jets. The cabin will be 2.03 m high and 2.77 m wide. This will make it about 20 cm wider and 2 cm taller than the largest of the business jets in operation.

The plane will have an entirely new fuselage with giant windows (about 50% larger than those of the Falcon 8X). In total, there will be 38 windows. In this way, the plane will be the one with the brightest cabin in the business aviation market.

Carbon fiber composite material will be used in the manufacture of the high-speed wing, so the resistance will be greater, the weight will be less and the aerodynamic drag will also be minimal. In addition, there will be systems that will allow greater support for the aircraft, increasing maneuverability.

The pressurization of the aircraft will also be a differential, the cabin will be able to maintain the pressure equivalent to that of 3000 feet when flying at 41000 feet. The air filtration system will also be super efficient, providing 100% pure air. The plane promises to be as quiet or more silent than the Falcon 8X, which already stands out in this regard.

The plane will have two engines, instead of the three-engine configuration, customarily used by Dassault. The engines will be the advanced Rolls Royce Pearl 10X, which is the strongest and most recent version of the Pearl series, which offers more than 18,000 pounds of thrust.

Flight technologies will also be the most advanced. The cockpit has giant, touch-sensitive screens. There will be a state-of-the-art flight control system, which is derived from Dassault's latest military technology. All of this will incorporate an unprecedented level of precision and flight protection. A single smart accelerator will be the main power control and a digital system controls the power of each engine as needed in each situation.

These technologies are so advanced that they can be found even in the Rafale fighter, a generation 4 aircraft and one of the best in the world military aviation market.

Still in the field of innovative technologies, we have Dassult's Falcon Eye vision system, which offers enhanced vision capabilities and will, combined with dual HUDs, make the airplane capable of operating in zero visibility conditions.

The 10X will be able to operate at small airports, where large planes could not, thanks to its ability to take off and land on short runways.
