The new airline of the Itapemirim Group, Itaperimirim Transportes Aéreos announced the arrival of its second aircraft on Brazilian soil. The Airbus A320, which will receive the registration PS-AAF after nationalization, must stay in Confins (MG).

After the formalities, the aircraft will proceed to São José dos Campos (SP), where it will receive new painting and customizations. The plane will receive the configuration for 162 seats.

The company announced, for the aviation channel ASA Aviation on YouTube, the date of sale of the tickets and the first commercial flight. CEO Tiago Senna also passed other updates on the company during the interview.

The CEO said he talked about the creation and certification of the airline in the midst of the pandemic in just one year and how the crisis directly affects aviation and brings uncertainty about the future. One of the statements is that the Airbus A319, smaller than the A320, is already ordered, and therefore the company will use them as well.

The pandemic and the great outbreak in which we live in Brazil made it difficult for company personnel to travel to bring the planes here, so the initial forecast of starting flights in March had to be postponed. The expectation is that all 10 initial planes of the fleet will be in Brazil by June, so that the operations take off on 06/30. To this end, airline tickets will begin to be sold next Friday, May 14th.
