German Aerodata will convert a Praetor 600 jet for flight inspection services. The jet will be converted to this function by installing AeroFIS systems for this purpose. The Brazilian Air Force's Special Flight Inspection Group (GEIV) serves the same purpose. After the modification, the plane is scheduled to be delivered in 2022. The new operator of the plane will be South Korea.

The converted version of the Embraer jet will be used for surveying, surveillance, special and periodic inspections, validating procedures and verifying the operation of the ADS-B system, a position monitoring system.

This is the first time that Embraer sells an aircraft for this type of mission outside Brazil.

“The contract with Aerodata also includes training for pilots and mechanics and an initial support package for the end user. The aircraft will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, such as head-up displays, state-of-the-art communication systems, paperless operation capacity and additional personalized internal resources. ”, According to Embaer.
