The Belgian company Brussels Airlines, together with the Moulinsart studio, painted the company's Airbus A320 with the Tintin theme in 2015. The aircraft reached the repainting deadline this year and will be painted again. On the outside, the painting will remain identical. The interior will be decorated with illustrations by Tintin. In the years after 2015, Brussels Airlines presented other exclusive paintings.
At the time of the first iconic painting, the OO-SNB registration Airbus was named Rackam. Now, again, the painting restoration project will be done in partnership with the Moulinsart studio, which is the company that owns the rights to the works of Tintin's creator, Hergé. The repainting and interior design process is expected to be completed in June 2021.

The aircraft is now 20 years old and started operating for the first time at the German company LTU. Even before being bought by Brussels, it had already been decorated with two different special paintings in 2002, with the colors of a German football club and in 2005, with the colors of another Spanish football club.
The fact is that the plane with the special painting by Tintin was very successful, attracting several enthusiasts and people who wanted to take pictures. In fact, the plane was mentioned by about six million twitter accounts and its official page on the Brussel website had over 100 thousand views.
