Turkish Airlines chefs work in business class on long-haul flights. They supervise the meal service, take passengers' orders and handle the preparation and presentation of meals.
The dishes of Turkish chefs have already won many awards for the company, such as the best catering service on board in the world more than once. In addition to the dishes, Turkish also offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, natural juices and ‘Fly Good, Feel Good’ teas.
Turkish Airlines Chairman and Executive Committee Chairman M. Ilker Ayci says that: Over the past year, we have had to make many adjustments to our product and service offerings to protect the health and safety of our passengers and employees. Our award-winning dinner service and the Flying Chefs program are emblematic aspects of the airline and we are happy to reintroduce them to our passengers around the world, thus making the flight experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. ”
In April 2021, with the advance of vaccination around the world and according to the possibilities of the pandemic, Turkish Airlines resumed the full premium menus through its world-renowned catering brand.
The resumption of premium meals in business class and economy class with more than two hours and fifteen minutes in duration and the resumption of the Flying Chefs program for executive flights of more than eight hours, represent the company's commitment to continue with the travel experience.
