The company's fleet of Boeing 737-800 is new, its 39 model units have an average of 5 years old. In addition, the company will receive its first Irkut MC-21, a competitor of the A320 and Boeing 737. With 50 units ordered, the company will have a very young fleet. There are still two more Airbus A320s to be received in the coming weeks.
The Airbus A320neo received, together with the next ones that will arrive, will contribute to expand and improve the Aeroflot fleet, as they offer greater capacity and better fuel efficiency.
“We are pleased to expand our strategic relationship between Aeroflot and CDB Aviation, these modern aircraft will offer the right combination of operational efficiency and flexibility to support the optimization of Aeroflot's fleet, as the carrier works towards Strategy 2028 and takes advantage of opportunities in the Russian and international air transport markets. ”, as announced by the CDB Aviation.
