The Ukrainian cargo plane Antonov An-26 ended up losing the propeller of the left engine for unknown reasons. The propeller assembly fell 200 meters from the highway that connects the cities of Bor and Juba in South Sudan. People at the scene watched the object fall.

The UR-UZI registration Antonov was able to return to the airport of origin and make its landing without major problems. Apparently there was no damage to the aircraft's structure.

The aircraft was banned from flying by South Sudan's civil aviation authority.
According to The Aviation Herald, the plane manufactured in Ukraine, at the time of the former Soviet Union, was in a common operation when the propeller assembly was lost. The causes of the incident are still being investigated.
