Gol reactivates hub in the northeastern capital

Next Monday, May 24, Gol will reactivate its hub at Salvador Bahia Airport, returning to operate flights to São Luís, Natal, Maceió, Vitória, Goiânia and Campinas.
Flights to Teresina and João Pessoa will also resume on June 18 and, on June 19, it will be flights to Palmas and Porto Alegre. On July 2, flights to Curitiba and Petrolina will also resume.
Thus, the airport in Salvador will again operate direct flights to all regions of Brazil and all 25 destinations that were operated by Gol in January will have been resumed, with tickets already for sale. Next to July, the time of greatest demand, more destinations will be added.
The manager of Marketing and Airline Business at Salvador Bahia Airport states: “more than a demonstration that we are aligned with the movement of resumption of domestic aviation, the reactivation of the Gol hub means that the company has confidence in the Salvador market and in your connectivity center in Bahia ”.
To maintain protection in relation to the pandemic, Salvador Bahia Airport implemented a series of sanitary measures, in line with the “Protecting each other” campaign and with international standards, in order to provide greater security.
Gol also offers flights from Salvador to other destinations, such as São Paulo, at Guarulhos and Congonhas airports, Rio de Janeiro at Santos Dumont and Galeão, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Aracaju, Barreiras, Vitória da Conquista, Ilhéus, Porto Seguro, Fortaleza and Recife.
