The Embraer ERJ-145 50-seat jet can now receive a semi-private airplane configuration. The conversion package was designed to make the plane more private and to increase passenger safety. The configuration includes business class seats to increase passenger comfort.
All ERJ-145s will be able to receive the conversion, which will be possible through a supplementary type certificate (STC), currently under development by Embraer.

There are other companies that are using this conversion solution in semi-private jets, such as JetSuiteX in the United States. Marsha Woelber, Embraer Serviços Global Executive Aviation and After Sales Customer Support Director
The new configuration, aimed at passengers traveling in first class, will move from the current 50 seats to 16 to 18 premium seats, one on each side of the aircraft, increasing the social distance that is so important today. There will also be a flat floor and the removal of the upper luggage compartments, all to expand the personal space of passengers. The conversion can be carried out at Embraer Service Centers.
