When delivering the tenth A400M to the Spanish Air Force, Airbus completed a total of 100 deliveries of the aircraft. On Monday, 24, the plane left Seville for Zaragoza, where the Spanish A400M fleet is located.
In addition, the A400M program has proved a success, as Airbus also celebrated this week the 100,000 flight hours mark of the A400M's global fleet, which operates worldwide for the eight client countries. All eight countries have used the A400M for missions to combat Covid-19.
The aircraft recently also managed to acquire most of the certificates it is seeking, in a certification flight test campaign in conjunction with the DGA (Directorate General for Armaments of France), including the first simultaneous air-to-air refueling of two helicopters.
