The new Brazilian airline of the Itapemirim Group, Itapemirim Transportes Aéreos (ITA) announced, on May 31, that it has just changed its CEO. The company's Executive Director is now Adalberto Bogsan, who has a long career in aviation. Bogsan has stints in leadership positions at Varig/Rio-Sul, Gol and Azul.
"The new challenge is a recognition more than deserved for the person who was responsible for the entire process of certification of the air operation by ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency). We are sure that Senna will perform another excellent job, employing all his experience for the expansion of our business in other segments", highlights Sidnei Piva, president of the Itapemirim Group.

The name behind the position of CEO throughout the creation of the ITA was Tiago Senna, who has now been promoted to the position of vice president of New Business at Grupo Itapemirim. Senna has been with the company for just over 1 year.
"We are starting an operation that will have a great impact on Brazilian aviation, and the executive has a very successful trajectory in this sector, as CEO of major players in the market. His competence and credibility will help us definitively democratize national air transport" , says Sydney Piva.
ITA will have its inaugural flight on June 29, 2021, flying from Guarulhos to Brasília. Until June 2022, ITA will operate in 35 destinations. Tickets are for sale on the company's website.
