Gol Linhas Aéreas was the first airline to resume flights with the 737 MAX, after six months of stoppage. The return took place on December 9, 2020.

From that date until now, there have been jets completed by Boeing, but which could not be delivered due to documentation with the competent bodies.

Gol received a 737 MAX 8 in January, but delivery only took place this month, with the delivery of planes with the prefix PR-XMO and PR-XMP. With this, Gol completed 10 aircraft of the model in its fleet.

But the total number of planes will not stop there. The company plans to have 17 aircraft of the model this year. The total order reached 135 planes, but was reduced to 34.

However, aircraft delivered from 2018 onwards are leased. Gol would receive its first 737 MAX 10, the largest in the family, in 2022, but Boeing had to resolve a series of obstacles and the date was 2023.

The 737 MAX 10 test prototype is expected to fly in the next few days. Fast taxi tests have already been done on the model.
