Government of Cuba authorizes operations of more than twenty airlines in the country as of July

For the month of July, 21 airlines were authorized to land in Cuba, four from Central America (Copa Airlines, InterCaribbean, Air Century and Bahamas Air), one from South America (Wingo), five from North America (Viva Aerobus, Air Canada, Southwest, JetBlue and American Airlines), one from the Middle East (Turkish Airlines), six from Europe (Neos, TUI Airways, Air France, Iberia, Air Europa and Evelop) and four companies from Russia (Ikar Airlines, Azur Air, Royal Flight and Aeroflot).
Copa Airlines, a Panamanian airline, will have two weekly flights departing Panama City and bound for Havana. American Airlines will also have weekly flights from Miami to Havana.
