The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) must create regulations for amphibious operations. Discussion of this will be in the form of a participatory meeting on July 20th at 9 am. The meeting will be online, by videoconference.

The theme of the meeting is long awaited by the amphibious aviation industry and should create possibilities for a new market within the airline industry. The northern region of the country will be the main beneficiary. This theme is part of the Simple Flight Program.

The feasibility of the amphibious operation in Brazil is included as the 10th issue of the Regulatory Agenda/ANAC 2021-2022. Thus, the meeting aims to verify the opinion and receive contributions and information from the sector on infrastructure necessary for takeoff and landing on the water.

Interested parties must register for the event by email gtno.gnad.sia@anac.gov.br and can share experiences, perceptions and data on the topic, as well as technical aspects, costs and benefits and will have up to 20 minutes of presentation, depending on the number of interested parties. The meeting will take place through Microsoft Teams.
