This Friday, July 23, Yuri Zavgorodnev, one of the heads of Sukhoi, presented, at the MAKS 2021 International Aerospace Salon, the first simulator with virtual reality glasses of the Su-57 Felon fighter.

A Sukhoi employee stated that “the concept has already gone a step further. We present the Su-57E interactive simulator”, referring to the fighter version intended for export, since the simulator will be used for the training of future pilots of this version. The virtual reality simulator for the Su-35 Flanker-E was presented at MAKS 2019.

Yuri stated: “We introduce more advanced technology. Two multifunctional displays are physically present in the Su-57 simulator, together with one of the latest virtual reality glasses, with very good graphics, allowing to visualize the situation inside and outside the cockpit in high resolution”. According to Yuri, the multifunctional displays can also add to the virtual image that will provide tactile sensations.

According to Alexander Mikheyev, CEO of Rosoboronexport, Russia is negotiating the sale of the Su-57 fighter with five undisclosed countries and, according to a Russian Federal Service spokesman, several countries have been making requests for the Su-57E model. , intended for export.
