The Ryanair 737 flight that was going from Athens (Greece) to Vilnius (Lithuania) and was diverted to Minsk (Belarus) on May 23 this year. The case follows a mystery, however, it has one more key piece.
Air traffic controller Oleg Galegov was responsible for speaking to the pilot on the radio and diverting the flight to the destination where journalist Roman Protasecvich, contrary to the Belarusian government of Alexander Lukashenko, was arrested. The diversion was made because of an alleged bomb threat.

Oleg Galegov and his wife are no longer seen from June, with the controller's phones and social networks disabled. It is not clear what happened to them.
There are several rumors about the whereabouts. A media source says the couple fled the country to Georgia, their homeland. Some say that there was a kidnapping or even protection by the Belarusian government.
No one knows for sure. However, it is certain that the controller knows a lot about the reasons that made him insist that the plane be diverted from its destination. His testimony would be valuable so that international authorities could determine who is responsible for what happened.
