Aircraft manufacturer joins the Brazilian Association of Airline Companies

Boeing is the newest member of the Brazilian Association of Airline Companies (Abear). The announcement was made last July 29th. Boeing joined the gold category, which brings together companies in the airline industry.

“Joining Abear is a key step in our business strategy to drive more racial and social equity in the aviation industry,” said Boeing Brazil Director General and Vice President of Global Policies, Landon Loomis.

“For more than 100 years, Boeing has built a diverse, global culture rooted in our foundational values, including safety, quality and integrity. We continue to build on this solid foundation, strengthening and investing in our company culture and through partnerships as well.”

According to Eduardo Sanovicz, the president of Abear, the innovative association will be fundamental for advancing in vital themes such as the fight against racism and the expansion of actions for social inclusion, challenges of our century.

Boeing is the eighth company to join Abear, and the first manufacturer, together with Abaeté Linhas Aéreas, is GOL Linhas Aéreas, ITA Transportes Aéreos, Latam Airlines, Latam Cargo, Rima Táxi Aéreo and Voepass Linhas Air.
