The Brazilian company reaches the milestone of 1,000 flights performed and 100,000 passengers transported

Last Thursday, August 26, the new company Itapemirim Transportes Aéreos (ITA) reached the milestone of one hundred thousand transported passengers and, today, August 27, the company also reaches the milestone of one thousand flights performed. The symbolic thousandth flight will depart from Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo, to Tom Jobim/Rio Galeão International Airport, in Rio de Janeiro.

In celebration, the company planned to reward customers with several actions to be carried out during the 1,000th flight, such as the delivery of gifts to passengers and free raffles for tourist attractions in Rio de Janeiro.

Sidnei Piva, president of Grupo Itapemirim, said: "It is the realization of a dream and the result of the work of hundreds of employees who have dedicated themselves fully to the operation of ITA in recent months. Reach the milestone of 100,000 customers transported on the same day in that we carried out our 1,000th flight, with less than two months of operation, only shows the excellent reception that ITA has had in the market. In addition to the 100,000 customers transported by the group's airline, we have also surpassed the milestone of half a million passengers on board. on the buses of Viação Itapemirim, in more than 18 thousand road trips. Therefore, there are already more than 600 thousand lives transported in almost seven decades in the market".

ITA's operations began in June, serving 8 national destinations, and in August the company added five new destinations to its operations, totaling 13 destinations today: São Paulo, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Porto Seguro , Salvador, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Florianópolis, Maceió, Natal and Recife. The company operates with four A320 aircraft, which carry up to 162 passengers.
