After 18 months of Portuguese borders closed to Brazilian tourists, the announcement of the reopening in September will cause two airlines, which already had direct flights to Portugal, to expand their operations to the country: Latam Brasil and Azul Linhas Aéreas.
Latam operated four flights between Guarulhos (São Paulo) and Lisbon and will operate six from November and from December the frequency will be daily.
Azul, which currently operates three to four flights to Lisbon from Viracopos, will now operate five in September. As for direct flights to Porto, there is no forecast to resume, but the company has codeshare (flight sharing agreement) with TAP for domestic connections.
Yesterday, September 1, Portugal released the entry of Brazilian tourists into the country, but it will still be necessary to present a Covid Digital Certificate from the European Union, as well as proof of a negative test carried out up to 72 hours before departure.
