IATA certifies Copa Airlines with NDC Level 4

Copa Airlines recently received NDC (New Distribution Capacity) Level 4 certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The fact took place on August 5th, but only became public on the last Thursday, September 9th.
The NDC, developed by IATA in partnership with airlines, is a technology standard that aims to modernize the distribution of these companies, allowing efficient communication between them and travel agencies, in order to enable the offer of products and dynamic prices and custom in real time. Level 4, received by Copa, demonstrates that the company uses complete offers and order management messages, within the current standard.
Dennis Cary, Senior Vice President of Planning and Commercial at Copa Airlines, said, “Distribution in the aviation sector has changed more slowly, however Copa, like many airlines around the world, is committed to developing innovative and innovative solutions. to ensure that we and our partner agencies can compete in the demanding environment we face.”
