The Dutch national airline KLM's fleet of Embraer E-Jet aircraft will now receive maintenance care from Helvetic Airways' partnership with KLM Cityhopper.
In practice, the agreement dated Monday, September 6, means that KLM Cityhopper is now a customer of the technical services division of Helvetic Airways and will be able to benefit from Helvetic's experience and facilities for the maintenance of its aircraft.
Helvetic's fleet of Embraer E-jet E2 jets is one of the largest in the world. The Swiss company also works in a similar way to other airlines, so that, in the future, Helvetic intends to be a global reference in the maintenance of Embraer jets.
Initially, what will be done is the maintenance of the entire fleet of E-jet E1 and E2 jets in the Netherlands. However, in the future, the agreement could be expanded.
