This Wednesday, September 30, a Fire Department aircraft had to make an emergency landing on a farm in Vilhena, Rondônia, after suffering a failure, which was identified by the crew when the aircraft was flying over the border between Rondônia and Mato Thick.

After identifying the problem, the Fire Department pilot followed emergency protocols and managed to locate a road located on a farm, where the aircraft landed. During landing, the plane lost one of its wheels, but no one was injured.

According to the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the crashed aircraft was manufactured in 1982 by Beech Aircraft, and it is the Beechcraft Baron model, capable of carrying up to five passengers. The aircraft is in normal airworthiness status, with its Certificate of Airworthiness valid until March 2022. The Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (CENIPA) will investigate the incident.
