Voepass airlines will include Boeing aircraft in its fleet. The aircraft are models 737-700 NG, 144 seats and 737-800 NG, 180 seats.
The aircraft will be included in the company's fleet, which currently has ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprop models. The inclusion of larger aircraft will boost the company's operations at Congonhas airport, one of the busiest in Latin America, as well as help with strategy to serve regional markets.
Congonhas airport should undergo an expansion in its operations, thus increasing the number of available slots. Voepass intends to return to operating jets, as it sees an opportunity in this process, as the economy also indicates strong signs of recovery.
Voepass has already started the certification process with Anac and it is estimated that flights with the new aircraft will take place as early as 2022. However, the number of new aircraft will depend on how the recovery of aviation in Brazil is going.
