The Brazilian Airline Association (Abear) announced that Gol, Latam Brasil, Voepass and Itapemirim have adopted mandatory immunization for all their employees. The move comes at a time when many airlines in the United States and around the world are adopting mandatory vaccination.

According to the association, the mandatory vaccination will contribute to the well-being of all passengers and company employees. Each company will have its own deadlines for the measure to take effect. However, companies will already have the obligation to have their employees vaccinated before the end of 2021.

"This is an important initiative to ensure the sanitary safety of all employees and, consequently, of passengers. The Abear associates will carry out internal work to mobilize and raise awareness of the importance of immunization," stated the president of Abear, Eduardo Sanovicz.
