Since June, the demand for Air France flights in Brazil has doubled, so the company will increase the offer of flights in Brazil, including five flights a week in Rio de Janeiro using the Boeing 777-300ER as of October 13th. The company is excited and has good expectations about the sector's recovery.

"The advance of Air France in Rio de Janeiro, where we never stopped flying, is another positive sign of the recovery we are seeing in Brazil, especially as the world reopens the borders for business and tourism", highlights Manuel Flahault, general director of the Air France-KLM Group in South America.

In addition, the company will resume its operations to Fortaleza on three weekly flights, which is an important market, especially in the European winter.

“In São Paulo, we already fly daily with both Air France and KLM and it is worth noting that at no time have we completely paralyzed the operation between the capital of São Paulo and Europe”, highlights Flahault.

Gol has an important role in the partnership. Also according to the general director, 25% of all flight reservations in Brazil involve Gol. "It is a fundamental relationship for our development here. The Gol Fortaleza hub puts us in a privileged position to connect passengers throughout Brazil", says Flahault.

In France, just one antigen test is enough for foreigners to visit the country. This is another cause for celebration and optimism for Flahault.

With the new flights, Brazil will have 27 weekly connections with French airports.
