Jet2.com, a company that has always operated Boeing aircraft, placed an order for another 15 units of the A321neo. This is not the airline's first order for Airbus. In August, low-cost placed an order for 36 units of the A321neo. The announcement was made on October 6th.
The low-cost United Kingdom intends to renew its fleet and make it more efficient. The Airbus plane promises to have a lower operating cost as it consumes 20% less fuel per seat. Airbus has won many new orders for this reason.
The company will configure the jets with 232 seats, a differentiated cabin and 60% more overhead luggage compartments. However, the company will select the engines to equip the plane later.
Jet2.com will feature 51 units of the Airbus plane.
