Gol Linhas Aéreas announced that it will finally resume flights from Brazil to Argentina as of December 19, after several delays determined by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The company will now offer daily flights from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, in Buenos Aires. During the summer, two weekly flights departing from Florianópolis will also be offered, in order to serve Argentine tourists who want to travel to Santa Catarina's beaches.
The new flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800, with capacity to transport up to 176 passengers, in the international configuration. In addition, the possibility of connecting to the domestic flights of Aerolíneas Argentinas, a Gol partner company, will also be offered.
With this, Gol will be returning to its fourth international destination. In November, flights will resume to Uruguay (Montevideo), Mexico (Cancun) and the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana).
