On Wednesday, October 20, the CCR Group won the concession for the six airports that make up the Central Block in the 6th round of airport concessions. The ceremony was held in Goiânia, with officials from Anac, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the president of Infraero and the board of CCR.
The airport auction has already acquired more than 1.8 billion reais for the block's airports. CCR's bid represented 754 million reais, with a 9.156% premium over the initial minimum bid of 8.14 million reais. Thus, the airports of Goiânia (GO), Palmas (TO), São Luís (MA), Imperatriz (MA), Teresina (PI) and Petrolina (PE), which are under the command of Infraero, will be managed by CCR by 30 years.
The forecast is that airports will increase their passenger movement by 30% in the first year, and may increase by 208% at the end of 30 years, reaching the number of 22.5 million passengers transported.

CCR's investments in Central Block airports should total 1.8 billion reais. The investments will be aimed at improving airport infrastructure, as well as improving security, as a way to increase operational capacity and offer more comfort and convenience to users. Investments are specific to each of the six airports.
In addition to the contribution that must be paid initially by the concessionaire, a variable grant on gross revenue must also be paid, established in increasing percentages calculated from the 5th to the 9th year of the contract, being constant thereafter and until the end of the 30 years of concession. The projected values ""over the entire 30-year period should be in the order of 3.6 billion reais for the airports in the Central Block.
