Gol Linhas Aéreas suspended all its international operations due to the covid-19 pandemic a year and seven months ago. However, aboard a Boeing 737-800, the flight from Guarulhos to Montevideo marked the company's return on international routes this Wednesday, 3.
The flight was marked with celebrations. Passengers received the “well-flying” candy with the words: back to Montevideo, as well as the traditional baptism on arrival (with reuse water). Montevideo is an important destination, as it is very popular as it is the starting point for other important tourist destinations in Uruguay.
Until 11/14, flights will have 4 weekly frequencies, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. From the 15th, the route will be operated daily.
