Airbus, in partnership with Sky Airlines, opened its training center in Latin America, being the manufacturer's fourth. The Airbus Training Center is located in Chile at the Tobalaba Aerodrome in Santiago.

It is a flight training center for operators. The installation should contribute to the growth of airlines as air traffic re-establishes itself around the world. The company should train 5,500 pilots in the region.

Airbus' network of training centers already has 20 centers around the world, including one in Brazil. The purpose of the facility is to provide a complete flight training package.

The new unit has accommodation and equipment aimed at training A320 pilots.

SKY, in turn, is a low-cost airline based in Chile and Peru, whose fleet is completely made up of Airbus planes.

Airbus aircraft already represent more than 60% of the fleet in operation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
