The airline Aerolíneas Argentinas will receive two units of the Airbus A330-200 model that belonged to TAP. One of them (LV-KAN) will arrive next week, while the other (LV-KAO) will arrive the second week of December. Shortly after arrival, the planes will start operating.

Currently, the aircraft are in San Bernardino, Calif., for painting and other changes, which include the entertainment system, lighting system, upholstery services, signage and general adaptations according to Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The planes will have the international certification ETOPS (Extended Range Twin Engine Operation Performance Standards), which allows the two-engine planes to carry out long operations with greater safety and efficiency in the assembly of flight plans.

According to the company, the planes, which have General Electric engines, will be used both on domestic and international trips. In addition, the planes will be used to replace others that have already been returned to the lessor.
