Calidus unveils competitor aircraft of the A29 Super Tucano

During the 2021 Dubai air show, Calidus, an UAE company, unveiled a full-size mock-up of the B-350 turboprop, which can carry a variety of weapons, such as the Thunder P32 guided bomb and the Halcon missile Desert Sting 16. The plane has 13 hardpoints The maximum takeoff weight is about 9 tons. In addition, it has a station for using an EO/IR sensor tower.
The turboprop draws attention for its size, with a wingspan of 16 meters. In comparison, the A-29 Super Tucano 11.1 meters wingspan and 11.3 meters long, with five hardpoints. The engine of the Super Tucano is the PT6A-68C, with around 1200 SHP
Apparently, the engine of the B-350 will be the same used in the ATR-72 and in the Airbus C295, the Pratt turboprop
